My journey had not been an uncomfortable one but I had remained on edge during the entire trip. Maybe it was because I was excited to be finally meeting Hana after all these years of exchanging photographs and letters. Or it was because I feared the journey ahead with the young ladies?

Either way I was warmly welcomed by all when I arrived. The young ladies appeared demure and well behaved, but when their mothers sat me down I soon found out there was more to the situation than met the eye.

Hana and Sabina explained to me just how close their daughters were with each other. They spent much time together, and it was possibly this closeness that had encouraged them to remain indignant to their mothers’ advice. They were not averse to lying to the mothers about their whereabouts, and would regularly cover up each others actions. The sisters explained to me how they had found letters from young men in the girls bedrooms, and how Sabina had caught one of her daughters with a packet of cigarettes in her coat. They also told me how they had tried to be more firm with their daughters – all to no avail.

As the list grew and grew, I could not contain my horror at what these two women must have had to endure. I reassured them that although I could not promise a full turnaround I could guarantee one thing – that some of this behaviour would be nipped firmly in the bud before my departure. And there was one sure way this could be done.

It was my first day at my friend Hana and Sabina’s house. I was to take English lessons with the young ladies.

Although they had expressed a keen interest in learning they struggled with even the most basic of conversational English. I knew I would have my work cut out for me. Nonetheless I put my bravest face on and soldiered on!

The initial excitement of learning English soon dwindled as the basic lesson in enunciation tested my dear students. It was not long before silliness and naughty goings-on began.

After lessons I was to explain to the young ladies the new house rules. These did not go down well, and as I was writing I caught movement out of the corner of my eye! Lucie had been passing a note on to Olga!

I had to nip it in the bud before it went any further! I was saddened that I had to demonstrate the consequences of breaking the house rules so early on but there was nothing for it! She had to take time out on the punishment box with her bare bottom exposed!

Welcome back dear viewers.

Miss Rose Cavendish has been on a magical journey across Europe and she wishes to share her memoirs with you. The story begins today and this video journal will be updated every seven days so make sure to come back and find out more as it happens.

Our story begins when Miss Cavendish receives a letter from her long-time penpal Hana. Hana has a sister named Sabina. The two women have two grown daughters each who have become steadily more badly behaved. They are at their wits end as to how to deal with their bad behaviour. As their daughters have become women, they have taken to going out unaccompanied in male company and staying out late on the town without their mothers’ permission!

Hana and Sabina do not know what to do! But as Hana knows the successes Miss Cavendish has had over the years with similarly badly behaved females in England she invites her friend over to offer some much needed assistance. The younger women think Miss Cavendish is merely coming to offer them English tuition while they are on holiday! Little do they know what is in store for them! But they will soon find out the hard way!
